What to Do When Your Non-Technical Boss is Just Plain Wrong

I find myself in this situation more often than I’d prefer — a non-creative or non-technical superior dictates the direction to go, even when it’s been clearly shown that there is a better and more efficient way. So what do you do? I’ve beaten my head against the brick wall so many times, that I’m just about in the place of apathy. “Meh, whatever” is unfortunately popping into my head sometimes. It’s not that I want it to, or even that I subscribe to that belief, but I do reach a certain point where arguing, suggesting, or defending just doesn’t get anywhere.
